Firearms Sales – Refund & Returns Policy

Firearms Express LLC is committed to providing quality products and professional service while complying with all federal, state, and local firearms regulations. Due to the nature of firearm sales and legal requirements, all sales are subject to the following Refund & Returns Policy.

1. All Firearm Sales Are Final

All firearm purchases are final sale.
Once a firearm has been transferred to the buyer and all required paperwork has been completed, no returns or refunds will be issued.

This policy is in place due to:

  • Federal and state firearms regulations
  • Manufacturer warranty structures
  • Safety and liability concerns

Please ensure the firearm you are purchasing is correct before completing transfer paperwork.

2. Firearms Shipped to Firearms Express LLC for Transfer

If a firearm is shipped to Firearms Express LLC from an online retailer or distributor for transfer:

  • Transfer fees are non-refundable
  • If you decide not to proceed with the transfer after the firearm arrives:
    • You are responsible for return shipping and any restocking fees charged by the original seller
    • Storage fees may apply if not resolved within a reasonable timeframe

Firearms will not be returned or shipped elsewhere until all applicable fees are paid.

3. Background Check Denials or Delays

If a purchaser is denied during the NICS/background check process:

  • No refunds will be issued by Firearms Express LLC for the firearm itself
  • Transfer/background check fees are non-refundable
  • The firearm must be returned to the original seller or transferred to another eligible buyer
  • Buyer is responsible for:
    • Return shipping costs
    • Any restocking fees from the original seller

If delayed, we will hold the firearm in accordance with NJ and federal law until a final determination is made.

4. Manufacturer Defects or Warranty Issues

Firearms Express LLC does not service or repair manufacturer defects.

If your firearm has a defect or malfunction:

  • Contact the manufacturer directly under their warranty policy
  • We will assist by providing documentation or manufacturer contact information if needed

Manufacturer warranty terms vary by brand and model.

5. Accessories & Non-Firearm Items

Accessories and non-firearm merchandise may be eligible for return within 7 days of purchase if:

  • Item is unused and in original packaging
  • Receipt is provided

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee.
Custom or special-order items are non-refundable.

6. Order Cancellations

Orders cancelled before shipment or transfer may be subject to:

  • Credit card processing fees
  • Distributor restocking fees
  • Special order cancellation fees

Once a firearm has shipped from a distributor, the sale is considered final.

7. Special Orders

All special-order firearms are non-refundable and non-cancellable once ordered from the distributor.

A deposit may be required for special orders and is non-refundable.

8. Compliance With Laws

Firearms Express LLC strictly follows all:

  • Federal firearms laws
  • State of New Jersey regulations
  • ATF guidelines

We reserve the right to refuse any sale or transfer at our discretion in compliance with applicable laws.
